Thesis
Penetration testing today is a three-week, €20,000 engagement that produces a static PDF with a high false-positive rate. European SMEs facing DORA, NIS2, and ISO 27001 compliance pressure cannot afford the wait or the budget — but they cannot afford to skip pentesting either. SQUR runs autonomous AI pentests in 24 hours at a fixed €1,995, with verified-exploitable findings (not noise) and compliance-ready evidence. Independent benchmark: SQUR solved 91 of 104 challenges (87.5%), exceeding the best reported human score of 85%.

Turnaround
Live deployment serves both consumer surfaces: app.squr.ai (pentest platform, €1,995 fixed price) and asm.squr.ai (free 60-second attack-surface scan, top-of-funnel acquisition).
Market opportunity
European SME compliance is hardening on three fronts: DORA (financial services, in force Jan 2025), NIS2 (broad critical-sector coverage, Member-State transposition through 2025-2026), and the Cyber Resilience Act (digital products, enforced from December 2027). Each mandates "appropriate and proportionate" security testing — and pentesting is the canonical evidence form for the audit trail.
European SMEs (20-200 employees, €2M-30M revenue) are price-sensitive to enterprise pentest pricing (€15k-30k per engagement is out of reach for monthly cadence). SQUR's €1,995 fixed-price + autonomous-scale model addresses the price-coverage gap directly.

Research partnership
SQUR co-developed the independent pentest benchmark methodology with KASTEL Labs at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The benchmark result (91 of 104, 87.5%) is the third-party-validated capability claim — the research collaboration continues across the autonomous-pentest evaluation methodology + EU AI Act Article 15 compliance posture for AI-driven security tools.
